THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER, THE HOLY SPIRIT If even sinful persons like yourselves give children what they need, don’t you realize that your heavenly Father will do at least as much, and give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for Him? AFTER YOU PRAYERFULY READ THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES ABOUT WHOM THE HOLY SPIRIT IS, WILL YOU ASK JESUS TO SIMPLY BAPTISE YOU WITH THAT SAME HOLY SPIRIT? THE SAME RESULTS THAT YOU READ ABOUT IS THE SAME RESULTS THAT YOU CAN HAVE! John 14:15-17 15 If you really love Me you will keep (obey) My commands. 16 And I will ask the father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby) that He may remain with you forever, 17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him, nor know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you (constantly) and will be in you. (KJV) Acts 10:44-47 44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. 45 The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said, 47 "Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have." (NIV) Acts 11:15-18 15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (NIV) Eph 5:18 and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. (NIV) THE CONDITION TO RECEIVING THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER, THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THAT YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. YOU MUST RECEIVE JESUS INTO YOUR HEART AS LORD AND SAVIOR. THE BLOOD OF JESUS THAT WAS SHED ON THE CROSS IS WHAT WASHES AWAY YOUR SINS AND MAKES YOU PURE AND CLEAN BEFORE THE FATHER. THE FATHER WILL THEN TAKE YOU INTO HIS LOVING ARMS AND SAY “YOU ARE MINE”. YOU CAN NOW SAY THAT GOD IS MY HEAVENLY FATHER! REMEMBER THE PROMISE IS FOR YOU NOW IT’S YOUR TURN TO ASK GOD FOR A FRESH BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND FIRE! THAT’S RIGHT, JUST BEGIN TO DRINK IN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. JESUS AS THEY ARE READING THIS, BAPTISE THEM NOW IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE SAME HOLY SPIRIT THAT CAME ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST IS THE SAME HOLY SPIRIT THAT IS MOVING UPON AND IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW. NOW AS YOU READ THIS, IN JESUS NAME RECEIVE THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND BEGIN TO SPEAK OUT LOUD IN TONGUES UNTO YOUR LORD. THIS IS THE RIVER OF LIFE THAT JESUS SAID WOULD FLOW OUT OF THE INNER MOST PART OF YOUR BEING. THANK YOU JESUS FOR YOUR GOODNESS TO YOUR CHILDREN.
